Sent

The purpose of the Sent project is to use the remote virtual connection offered by the internet to facilitate a virtual collaboration between musicians and sound artists across the world.

The internet will serve as a platform to reveal the skeleton of the artistic process of this piece, which will be readily available to a mass audience. The internet will serve as a means of connectivity between otherwise physically disparate musicians and sound artists.

For the success of this piece, participants in this work must compose art suitable to physical conditions and grammar of the internet. The sound will be transformed as information to fit the virtual space of the internet, and this information will be easily accessible and available for public distribution via the net.

In turn, the Sent Project will be the binding factor that unites the artists who will be collaborating as a unit in this virtual web that is the internet.
